Cosmetic and Family Dentistry Concord – COVID-19 Protocols

Please review our new COVID- 19 policies below.

1.)  Prior to your dental appointment, we will be sending an email with a link to online forms to be filled out.  These forms help us to pre-screen anyone who enters our office.  Please be sure to fill these forms out prior to your arrival in our office.

2.)  If you are sick, have a cough, cold, fever, chills, runny nose, or loss of taste or smell,  please call and cancel your appointment as soon as possible.  We will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a later date.

3.)  Please wear a face mask or face covering when entering our office.  Be sure to bring one with you to your appointment.  Children under the age of 12 do not need a face covering at this time.

4.)  A  Team member will ask you pre-screening questions and take your temperature prior to entering the office.

5.)  We will be limiting the number of patients and people in our office at a time.  If you are a caretaker of a patient or are a parent of a child, you will be asked to wait in your car until treatment for the patient has been completed.

6.)  We will be eliminating our communal coffee bar and fresh muffins at this time.  We will be happy to provide you with a bottle of water if you request.

7.)   Prior to any dental treatment, a Team member will ask you to wash your hands with soap and water and do a pre-rinse for 30 seconds.  Additionally, hand sanitizer is available throughout the office for your convenience.

8.)  If you are having a hygiene therapy treatment, you may notice small changes to the treatment during this time. We will be reducing aerosol creation in the air by limiting the use of our electric scaler called the cavitron. We will also be reducing the use of our polish and designate the use on a case by case basis. We hope to bring these instruments back to our regular treatment protocols once we have more information about the COVID 19 virus and how it is transported.

9.)  We have worked hard to streamline our systems and create digital efficiency in our office these past few years.  We will be using our digital system, even more, to send our patients their treatment plans, consent forms, or any other documents via email that previously needed to be signed with paper.  This will help in reducing additional contact and cross-contamination between individuals.
